casual--not frumpy!
We've all been there--victims of the Casual-Frumpy epidemic. But, no more! There are so many ways to be comfortable and look stylish at the same time.
Add a button-up under a sweater,
mix in some fun jewelry,
opt for colored jeans,
wear a bold print,
or pair a simple sweatshirt with chic boots!
Taking even a few preventative measures will surely save you from this terrifying epidemic. ;)

tweed it to me!
Every once in a while I get obsessed with something. A few months ago it was bubble necklaces. Let's spare my feelings and pretend that my borderline crazy obsession with them is normal... ;)
This month? TWEED. If it's tweed, I must have it. Did you know that last week I bought three (THREE!) tweed jackets in one day?
Well, as in turns out, I like tweed on my top AND my bottom. Jackets, skirts, GIMME!!

life in pictures: our ski trip!

| We also got to catch up with some friends over delicious dinner and drinks. We ate too much, drank just enough, aaaaaaand I was asleep by 11:00 pm. I actually fell asleep amidst a conversation back at our lodge. As in, I was carrying on, apparently fell asleep, and woke up to find our friends gone for the night. Oops! Hey--skiing takes it out of you! (And clearly I'm an old lady when it comes to my bed time.) |

work looks!
Hi Loves! How has your week been? Mine definitely flew by. And now, I'm getting ready to go on a ski trip. I still have to go pack my bag and pick out my outfits (let's get serious, I LOVE this part! haha). But, I wanted to post the work outfits that I've been wearing lately.
The first outfit was what I wore on Valentine's Day--whimsical and fun, yet still work-appropriate!

1 dress, 4 ways!

We all love shopping for new pieces for our wardrobe. It's exciting! But, sometimes what's even more fun is re-discovering your own closet and re-styling the clothes that you already own. It's like finding buried treasure. ARRRGH MATEY!
One of the easiest ways to re-style your clothes is to layer different pieces over and under, like my green pleated dress above.
Put a jacket or cardi over it. Put a button-up under it. Throw on a scarf. Belt it.
Play with it and see what you come up with!
